Greetings from LAX

I just wanted to drop a note from a business center here in LAX. I am flying home for a few important reasons, one of them being a wedding to attend and another to spend some quality time with the girlfriend. Again, I feel like I have tons to write but food coma has gotten the best of me and my brain is not functioning very well. Notably, the toxins and weight I lost the past month to bikram yoga may have come back with a vengeance.

I have an interesting next few weeks ahead, so there is definitely more to come. Peace.

She's Just Awesome

I haven't posted in a long time, because I really haven't found the groove to write about the many recent things that I have encountered and experienced, especially the fantastic epicurean treats in which I have indulged most guiltlessly.

Long distance relationships can definitely do more than take a toll. It can shift your dynamic with your partner and reshape affection, communication and other important elements. I assume when (or if) the distance ends, two people will have to "re-learn" each other and get used to the new environment of nearness.

So today, I have found my groove. My groove has been through and with her, and she has inspired me to get back to Confessions, and express something simple: I am indeed a lucky, lucky man, and I cannot wait for the day the long distance part of our relationship becomes a thing of the past.
